System Studies Engineer

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a System Studies Engineer on a 7-month contract based in Stafford. 3 days minimum attendance (Tues / Wed / Thurs) in the Stafford Office.

This role falls Inside IR35

Responsibilities of the System Studies Engineer: –

• Leading the electrical system studies on High Voltage electrical substation projects, including windfarms and grid connection projects.
• For small projects; directly undertaking the following system studies:
  • Load flow
  • Short Circuit
  • RAMS
  • Insulation Coordination
• For larger projects; managing external consults to create a full set of studies, including validation of the work produced.
• Liaising with Clients to explain the studies and how they have been used to formulate the practical design.
